Back to Branson for a fifth season!

John Rex Reeves, native son of Panola County and host of the annual Jim Reeves Jamboree in Carthage, TX., and originator and host of the highly successful John Rex Reeves Pickin’ Party for  8 years, has agreed to bring his Jim Reeves Tribute Show back to the new God and Country Theatre (formerly the Nova Theatre), in Branson, Missouri, for a fifth season.  With more than one hundred entertainment shows, Branson has become a favorite vacation destination for millions of tourists. It has replaced Nashville as the number one country music mecca and is the number one tour bus destination spot in the United States.

Beginning April of 2009, and running through November 28th, John Rex will perform his tribute to his uncle Jim Reeves and sing hits of his own. Opening for John Rex will be singer-songwriter, John Dee Secord.  Come enjoy this intimate show as John Rex plays his guitar and sings Jims biggest hits. John Rex will also tell stories about growing up with one of the greatest legends in country music history.

In addition, John Rex and Neva would like to thank the many fans who have visited the Jim Reeves Tribute Show in 2005-2008. It has been a pleasure to meet and entertain so many friendly and wonderful folks. The friendships that have been made are truly a blessing. Thanks again and looking forward to seeing you in 2008.

Shows are Tuesday through Saturday at 3:00 p.m. For information about John Rex’s Branson show and individual and group sales contact: God and Country Theatre at  417-334-6806. .
