John Rex's Jim Reeves Tribute Show
comes to Henderson, TX, on July 25th, 2009.
Come enjoy John Rex and his band
as he treats fans to the biggest hits of Jim's career. A talent show
will begin at 6:30 and end at 7:45 with the winner performing at 8:00 p.m.at
the big show at the Henderson Middle School. The winner will also receive
the opportunity to perform on John Rex's Branson Show. Henderson is the
place that Jim got his start in entertainment as he was an announcer on

Hi Folks! Welcome to my website. As a lad
growing up in East Texas, I was fascinated
with country music, and through the years, my love
for the simple, heart-felt ballad has become a part of my natural being.
I listened in awe as my Uncle Jim would sing for us during his visits
to Panola County, Texas, while taking a few days off from his touring
schedule as a top recording artist for RCA. He would sit, just him
and his guitar, and sing country ballads so melodic and haunting and though
I was a youngster, his music would stir my very soul. I also found
the music of Hank Williams equally fascinating and began trying my efforts
at the ballads very early in life. My song, "Sing on Country Music", is
a true story about the way country music has influenced my life.
