The 14th Annual Jim Reeves Tribute Show was held in Henderson, TX., on July 24th, and it was a sellout. The Talent Show that was included drew 20 contestants seeking to become country music stars. John Rex was MC for the event. He sang 14 Jim Reeves songs as he sat on a stool with just his guitar. He commented that was the way he remembered Jim singing to him and other kids before he became a big star.  A big thanks to all the fans and friends that attended the show and called wishing for the show to be successful. Jim is gone, but his music lives on. We are looking forward to next year's show. In the meantime, "Keep it Classic Country!"

Great Country Music is a Reeves Family Tradition!
Hi Folks! Welcome to my website.  As a lad growing up in East Texas, I  was fascinated with country music, and through the years, my love for the simple, heart-felt ballad has become a part of my natural being. I listened in awe as my Uncle Jim would sing for us during his visits to Panola County, Texas, while taking a few days off from his touring schedule as a top recording artist for RCA. He would sit, just him and his guitar, and sing country ballads so melodic and haunting and though I was a youngster, his music would stir my very soul. I also found the music of Hank Williams equally fascinating and began trying my efforts at the ballads very early in life. My song, "Sing on Country Music", is a true story about the way country music has influenced my life.

Thanks for visiting my website. Please enjoy your stay, and don't forget to check out the Jim Reeves tribute page and other interesting links. And before you leave, please remember to sign the guestbook and leave any questions or comments.
